Hear what our clients have to say about Gene Adams: A guide can make or break a hunt, a good guide needs to have empathy with his clients, to quickly learn their temperament, experience and shooting ability, together with any mobility issues. Armed with this information he can tailor the hunt to match his clients requirements. This is the real skill of professional guiding, of course knowledge of terrain, habitat and quarry are as essential as good dogs and better handling. It is always a bonus when your guide has all three and Gene Adams has them and more. I have hunted with Gene on several occasions at a variety of quarry and every hunt has been professionally and expertly handled and great fun. A guide, dog trainer, instructor and natty dresser and man about town, there are not to many left, so grab your chance to share a day in the field with a first class guide. Over the years I've trained numerous dogs with him and I can say with out reservation that he is easily the most influential bird dog man I know! Countless hours on the phone and in the field, going over different methods and ideas has opened my eyes to so many positive results for my dogs! I've referred several friends to Gene and they have all come back with the same positive feedback. And their dogs are stylish as all-get-out! If you're looking for a bird dog trainer that will get your dog to bragging-rights levels, then give ol' Gene a call.

Gene is the best man with dogs I have ever hunted with. We have been hunting with Gene about five years now, and I have never seen him even raise his voice to any of his dogs. Hunting behind a pair of Gene's pointers with an English Cocker for flushing is a treat anyone who likes to hunt should experience. We now have two of Gene's dogs. We could not be happier with Charlie and Rigby.
When I got my dog "Shelby" she was a year and a half old "rescue dog" that spent most of her life to that point in a kennel with no training. To say the least she was a mess, she didn't know her name, here, stay, heel, whoa...nothing! After just 7 weeks with Gene she came back a whole new dog. She knew her name, was steady on birds, was whoa trained, and heeled on command. It was by far the best money I've ever spent on a dog. The entire family thanks you Gene!

My experience with Stormy Weather Kennels was phenomenal. After two months with my pup, Gene had her ready to hunt. I intend to send my next dog to Gene, and would recommend anyone else to do the same.
